Jack Dorsey attempts to dispel suspicions that he may be reinstalled as Twitter's CEO once Elon Musk assumes leadership. On Wednesday, in response to a prediction that he would return to run the firm he co-founded, he tweeted, "Nah, I'll never be CEO again," and said he did not desire the position.
In a second comment, Dorsey suggests that "no one eventually" should be Twitter's CEO, perhaps in reference to Bluesky, a project that aims to transform Twitter into a decentralized protocol rather than a typical social network.

Dorsey’s Journey At Twitter
Dorsey has a tumultuous past with the Twitter executive position. In 2008, barely two years after he helped start the firm, the board removed him from his position as CEO (though he stayed on the board). After Twitter had two different CEOs, he returned to the post in 2015, but in 2020, a group of investors on Twitter's board began seeking to oust him. They noted his split focus and lack of creativity, yet Dorsey was able to keep his position. However, he resigned from his position in November 2021 for unclear reasons.
Following Dorsey's resignation, Parag Agrawal assumed the role of Twitter's CEO. Nevertheless, it seems that he won't be around for much longer. Elon Musk is expected to acquire the firm and take it private (a tale that started with him seeking to become a board member, then pulling out of the transaction), and it is speculated that he would serve as interim CEO if the sale goes through. Musk has to manage SpaceX and Tesla, so it seems probable that he will seek a replacement.
Latest Advancements
Dorsey has lately been speaking negatively about Twitter on Twitter, giving the impression that he is unhappy with the company's trajectory (though he has also posted some good tweets to keep us wondering). Additionally, he seems to concur with Musk on at least a few aspects of Twitter's future. People's belief that Jack may be Elon's pick seemed logical.
Unfortunately, it seems that Jack is no longer CEO, as he said, "It's time to roll the dice again."
Months ago, Block stated that Dorsey's new business title would be "Block Head." According to a document provided to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, he sought the title change. No surprise, some believed he would be the ideal candidate to manage "techno king" Elon Musk's Twitter account.
